Our premium Sauvignon is full-bodied with deep aromas of guava and passionfruit. This wine is rich and weighty with flavours of ripe citrus and lemongrass. It is well structured and concentrated and has a long lingering juicy finish.

Our Lord Rutherford Sauvignon Blanc is crafted from a rigorous
selection of our most prime vineyard parcels grown on the free
draining, alluvial Hope plains. The crop was carefully groomed
throughout the growing season with leaf plucking and bunch thinning to maximise ripeness and concentrate flavours. Harvested at optimum ripeness in the early morning while the grapes are cool. In the winery the juice was handled very gently and underwent cool fermentation in stainless steel using a selection of yeast strains designed to promote expressive aromas and rich mouthfeel. It was matured for 6 weeks on yeast lees in order to build structure and complexity capturing the quintessential characters of a fine Sauvignon Blanc.
